What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on my wife's dowry payment, I love the peace and respect that reigns between my family and my in-laws after the dowry payment.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different having received the transfer because it has made it possible for me to make my marriage official through the dowry payment and for my family to own their own livestock for the first time.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
From my second transfer, i bought iron sheets for roofing, bought round poles for building, bought building posts, building nails, spent on transportation of the building materials, paid laborers building my house, bough 3 sheep which I could later sell and make profit and a solar lamp to minimize on the amount of money we spend to buy kerosene. Most of second transfer was spent to buy iron sheets as I needed a bigger house which could accommodate my family and siblings since we are orphans and they have no where to go to.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have sheep and poultry which I can sale and make more profit, I have a bigger house which is enough for my family and my siblings all this make my life very happy and want to wake up again tomorrow to graze my sheep and feed my poultry.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the first cash transfer on buying 2 sheep 4400 KES,a mattress 2700 KES ,25 tins of maize 1500 KES. I also bought a cloth for my wife 500 KES and the rest of the money i spent on buying food formy family.

I am planning to spend the second cash transfer on buying building materials to build a new house in my own compound because at the moment am stay at my parent's compound.

The achievement I am proudest of is building my own house which is grass thatched. It's better than nothing.

The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is living in a house that leaks every time it rains. If I get money, I will use it to fix this problem.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am receiving pay for my casual work at the construction sites.
