Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on my farm bushing when I heard the message tone on my phone I immediately left the brushing and came to town and I took the phone to my trustee to find out what message was it because I can't read and write, he told me it was money givedirectly sent to me. I shouted out of excitement I began dancing telling my neighbours how happy I am about the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference this transfer I have made in my life is very important I used to tap palm wine sell before finding food for the family and sometimes I make trips to enable me to provide meat at home for the family because what I get from the sale can not allowed me to purchase others ingredients for our the daily meal. Since I received this money I can pay my children's school fees and buy fish for our meals.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I will send my children to school because school have already began.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to use portion of my transfer to pay manpower to work on my farm since I am old now and unable to do hard work. I also plan to send my grandchildren to school that will make them become great leaders of the future. Moreover, when we go to the hospital here they always give us pepper to buy medicines outside of the health facilities since they do not have medicines there. So I will use portion of my transfer to also treat my wife and myself so we can be healthy and live longer. Finally, I will fix my house by installing doors to the room's and buying some chairs for my living room. I will buy my wife some new stuffs such as clothes, bags ect...and also use some for our feeding and up keep.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me more joy and happiness in the last six months was one of my son graduated from the medical school and is assigned in Grand Kru. He presently work with one of the health facilities there as the officer in Charge (OIC), his coming here brought me so much joy and happiness because he brought us food, send money and give one of my closer relatives who is very sick with pressure some money to get treatments.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge right now is that I have a big son who I heard he's in Salala but it has been long since I set my eyes on him, like about ten (10) years ago now. He highly call me neither to come check up on me and his mother to know how we are doing. So this worry me a lot and give me sleepless night at times, I wish and pray that he will recognize us his parents one of these days and get in constant communication with us or come back home.
