What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to complete paying for a motorcycle for taxi business, acquiring land for gardening and repairing our two grass thatched houses.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well giving people money to up-lift their lives from extreme poverty, and there's nothing it has not done well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been because am a happy woman for i own household items i didn't have before and can now afford to buy basics like sugar, soap, clothings and food stuff.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying household items, and iron sheets. Paid labor for molding bricks and hired a garden for cultivation.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt very happy that I started running around while making joyous noise.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now have less stress thinking of where to cultivate since I did not have a garden but always begged to be given a small portion.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which i face is having debt of two hundred and fifty thousand shillings which I borrowed last year. when my child was sick up to now I have not paid.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is noon time .especially when we are having lunch together with my mother in-law and my children.the children always crack joks with their ground mother which makes me so happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help my family to buy land for farming since we don't have farming land and the balance I will use for building two room permanent house.
