Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is much healthier than before because I eat well and sleep peacefully. Earlier on, I was worried of how I was going to repay the loan and be in position to reclaim my farm land. I am so delighted after paying off that debt and repossess the farm land.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My spouse woke me up and delivered the good news to me. I was very happy at that moment because this was a miracle to us.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 800000 to pay off a loan and UGX 200000 to hire a piece of farm land. I spent UGX 200000 to purchase household items such as a brief case, saucepans, utensils and uniforms. I am planning to spend UGX 500000 to purchase construction materials.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means improved living conditions. I will build a permanent house in order to reduce the burden of looking for grass on yearly basis. The house I sleep in now is grass thatched which is very expensive to repair.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is at around 2:00pm when my children have returned home from school. Normally, I remain alone with my young child and so many competing demands. For me to be able to do my chores well, there should be another grown up child to play with the young one. When he finds one, I am now able to do my work and that is my joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of a clear source of income is my biggest hardship. There are so many competing demands which income from farming can not sustain. My source of income is basically through farming but it is not reliable due to drought or floods that drop in at any point of time.
