How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently enjoyable. My house is presentable and I can invite visitors with courage without fear of embarrassment of the condition of the house unlike previously.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to plant maize for a beter harvest come next season nw that I can purchase fertilizer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference is that I was able to repair my house. This was my major worry but now it has been settled thanks to GD.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months I expect to have a bumper harvest since I will have employed the use of fertilizer and improved seeds.

Do you have any new goals that you didn't have before receiving the transfer?
I don't have any new goal in my life. Initially, I had set my dream in farming-I wanted to expand growing maize, beans and vegetable crops so that I may not only produce what I can eat, but what I can as well sell.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different than it would have been if I never received transfers in that my economic status has improved greatly. I don't need to be worried anymore of financial crisis since I am guaranteed a monthly basic income.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six month, I would like to be a great farmer in my village-I will be producing food crops and supplying within and even outside the village to earn additional income and improve food security.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly that I can mention is happiness and peaceful state of mind. Getting money had been a great challenge to me , but since I was enrolled into the program and money started flowing in, I have been able to afford my basic needs easier.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is being ailing for most of the time. I do find it difficult to get daily needs when I am sick.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when sharing a meal with my family. We also share how our day was.
What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I plan to spend my transfer on buying cement, sand and pay artisan for improving the condition of my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is that I own livestock that I bought using my own money.
