How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in a way that before GD I did not have a house and I never thought I will have a house with Iron sheets but now the house is almost done.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well on giving people money to help them access things they could not in their lives.

I spent the second transfers new house materials which are on 35 iron sheets and 6 bags of cement. started building the house with the first transfer and this transfer is just for finishing.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I recieved the money, I was very happy and thankful.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I used to sleep down on the floor on a sack and now this is old news. I have a mattress now as well as blankets to keep me warm at night.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I recieved the money i bought 24 iron sheets as well as 7000 bricks to build a house of my own that I do not have I also bought a mattress and blankets for my family

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will help our family to buy enough food as we have been struggling with hunger due to poor yields as we have been lacking money for fertilizers and for food. So this is a huge relief to us.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I go to the mosque to pray as this is a time when I have to talk to Allah and thank him for my life
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We've have always had problems in finding enough food to feed our children as we have always lacked money for food and fertilizers..
