I'm still working on completing my previous plan which is my house project.

Give Directly does everything well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My transfer was spent on additional building materials to fast track my building project. I bought zink, nail, pay people to saw my planks, and cut sticks.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before receiving my second payment from GiveDirectly, the thought of using planks to roof my house never crossed my mind. Initially, my planned was to used sticks for roofing. Notwithstanding, my new goal now is to use planks to roof my house instead of the sticks. I am very happy for this new goal knowing that I will be using quality materials on my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has been doing so well for us. From the selection process to till now they've been tirelessly just to see our lives changing for the better. The hard works and every efforts put in place by this Organization will never go unnoticed by us. Sincerely speaking, I don't see anything that GiveDirectly had not done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my new goal of using planks to roof my house instead of the sticks, I used some of the money and bought six gallons of gas for the sole purpose of sawing the planks. Furthermore, I use a portion to pay a wood sawer to saw the planks for the roof, doors and windows. Finally, I used the balance money and purchased goods for my business.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The night I saw the message, I was sitting in my kitchen warming water for bath when the message came on my phone. At that moment I started shouting, to the extent that my neighbours thought I got burned by the hot water. But it was a shout of joy. I have been planning to start a business that will be of help to improve the livelihood of my family and raising cash from the farming work was a difficult thing to do. Interestingly this transfer is a dream come through.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Before GiveDirectly could come with this great help for we the needy, I have been finding it very difficult to raise money to start a business, that I could be of help to my husband who is a farmer that earns very little from farming to cater to all the needs of the family. However, with GiveDirectly transfer I used some of my money to buy empty gallons as storage can for the palm oil. Finally I used a good portion to buy twenty gallons of palm oil to start a business that could serve as a help to improve the livelihood of my family. Thanks to Give Directly for changing our lives for the better.

Since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, most of my recent transfer was spend on buying empty gallons that I used to stored the palm oil. Additionally, a huge amount was used to purchased twenty gallons of palm oil for sale. With this new business, the life of my family and I will soon change for the better. What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I get this cash transfer I will do business because my spouse doesn't get his salary regularly. Doing business will enable me generate proceed to purchase a plot of land and built my house because I can not depend on my spouse alone. Building a house is a dream come true for me and my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My daughter first semester grades were good last semester, that is when we knew that the more support we give her, the more she will continue to make us proud. Another good news is that GiveDirectly has come to give us support.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge is not being able to support my daughter college education, she is currently in school and we do not have money to continuously support her in her studies, my inability to provide regular meals for my family.
