What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer for purchasing a bull at 600,000ugx to add with the one I had in order yo helo me in timely ploughing. I paid tuition for my child worth 400,000ugx for second term. I used 450,000ugx for hiring three acres of land, I will cultivate in this land, sell the produce to educate my children and eat some at home. I also acquired three plastic chairs at 83,000ugx that will be used at home as seating facilities. Unfortunately, I lost 100,000ugx on my way home from the withdrawal point.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Givedirectly has done well by giving unconditional cash transfers which has transformed our community from low income earners to medium income earners. I do not see anything that GD does not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I am living a less stressful life free from the burden of tuition and my status has changed since I now own bulls that will enable me plough early for better yields.

I spent my first transfer to buy a bicycle, and to pay school fees for my child who is in a boarding school,i also used my transfer to hire a garden and bulls for plaughing, i bought seeds for planting, this transfer was sent at a time when I was in a sick bed so I also paid my hospital bills.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment i received my money,i felt happy and my health also improved instantly because I was on the sick bed when I received this transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest differebce in my life is that i am able to plough my gardens in time because i have my own seeds,my own oxen for plaughing and my garden that i hired, previoysly i did not have any of this and i used to go begging from those who had and this would make me not to plough in time. I bought my bicycle and movement from one place to the other is now easy,I used to walk long distances and movement was so hard.
