How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal for my recent transfer is for me to pay my children tuition.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my mind GiveDirectly did well because, with the cash that I received I am building my house and also sending my children to school. I did not see anything that GiveDirectly did not do well.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
To build my own house because my six (6) biological children and I always living in family's house. And at the same time, I will pay my children last installment school fees for the academic year.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does well by uplifting us from poverty and what is not done well is those who didn't get the money but have phones are sad while we are happy.

I'm spending the transfer on the purchase of items (zinc, nails, wood and workmanship) to build my own house and I'm also paying my children school fees.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was feeling fine because I will use this money to pay my children school. Some of my children will go to school also because they have not been in school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I want to to send my children to school so they can be educated. Two of my children are here with because there is no financial assistance.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In a long time i was able to make $2000 for my gari sale. That brought me so much joy because with that amount i was able to get enough food for my children and i.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My greatest challenge is financial support. I fix gari and fufu for us to survive. My husband left me with all the 4 Children and he no longer support us. There is no money for the children to go school .
