Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the happiness I feel having managed to see to it that I help my grandchildren with their fees issue. Before recieving this money, together with their parents, we used to do casual labor to raise fees.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt relief knowing that I would help my grandchildren with their fees issue.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer Ugx 1400000 to give to my grand son and daughter who needed money to cater for their education needs. I used Ugx 300000 to get back my land that had been mortgaged.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will build an ironsheets house for myself and grandchildren because currently the one we are living in is so small to comfortably accommodate us. I will also use part of the money for agriculture. In this I will rent agricultural land because I have limited land for agriculture, I will also buy inputs like seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labour. I thought about commercialized agriculture sometime back but I just didn't have the financial capacity. So with the GD transfers, it is an opportunity to change life.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon after tbe lunch meal with my grandchildren.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in my life is illness. I have a chronic illness that affected my physical ability to do garden work and other heavy duties.
