How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different because I acquired a bicycle which is helping me collect alot of water in time because I can carry four jerrycans at once. Before, I used to cover along distance to collect water which was time consuming.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by helping me clear debts and to buy a bicycle which I'm using to collect water. GiveDirectly has not done anything wrong.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have not yet spent my transfer, but I'm planning to spend on building my permanent house.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Self esteem is on top of agenda in my daily life because, I had slept in cold house due to lack of a good door, lacked descent clothes and did not have enough land for crop cultivation. I am now very happy and my family members are smarter than they were before.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I t was very difficult in terms of transport, the burden of debts, I slept in a house with a shattered door, receiving this money put a big smile on my face because I knew that my problems would be solved.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer worth UGX 280,000 for purchasing a bicycle to help in fetching water and providing transport for the family. I paid a debt for the money worth UGX 500,000 that I had borrowed for paying tuition for my children, I lent a neighbour some UGX 500,000 in exchange for an acre of land until it is paid. I bought a door worth UGX 160,000 to replace the one in our grass thatched house. The balance of UGX 260,000, I spent it on purchasing clothes for household members and feeding.
