How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Yes i have new goals that i didn't have before receiving the transfer, I've been living at my husband's place ever since i got married, and my wish was to build a house at my home village. So when i got the first transfer i started up by buying house building materials,i bought ironsheet, bricks doors and frames ,and then used the second transfer with the actual house building,i paid labour expenses and bought additional materials. I really appreciate being enrolled if not for GiveDirectly i wouldn't have managed to build my own house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion this organisation has done an exceptional job by enrolling us starting from enrolling process untill receiving this transfer, the only thing that did not go well is some people from the village did not get a chance of getting enrolled in the programme.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have received the second transfer and I'm so grateful the main areas which this money has helped me in is the house project. I have managed to buy materials like ironsheet, doors, frames, windows and even starting the real project with the same money.
