What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on constructing a 4 -roomed house that utilized 40 pieces of iron sheets. This was a very great transition from the tiny, ugly and leaking house that I possessed before. I found it very challenging consoling my children who cried a lot for being rained on during rainy seasons. I could go an extra mile of seeking for hostage at the neighborhood at such times, something which brought us much shame as community members were left wondering how long we would undergo that.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed much more than it would were it not for the transfers. I am cork sure I would still be living the miserable life I did before. My children would still be grieving for better housing which would all go in vain. Am very grateful that that's no more.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I feel that GiveDirectly has moved mountains in most villages which other organisations could not move. Reaching out to each and every individual is the most recognizable thing I can attest. Honestly, GiveDirectly deserves all the appreciations.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
Our first plan is to spend part of the transfer to build a bigger house because this one is small and is in a bad status. Secondly, we plan to use another part of the transfer to buy three cows for my dowry that my husband has not been able to pay. Lastly, we intend to use the remaining amount to pay school fees for our child who will be joining form one next year.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we are very proud of is that, from our little savings, we have already bought thirty pieces of iron sheets which we plan to use for building of our house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing is living in this small house that can not accommodate the eight of us.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am selling vegetables to the villagers with anticipation of making some income.
