How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I have been able to acquire many house hold items with in a very short time. For instance I have been to acquire oxen for agriculture and house hold items for use at home. My life has improved alot because the cash transfers have reduced the burden of responsibilities that I had before. Had I not received the cash transfers, my life would have been so horrible and unbearable. I would be looking for manual jobs to make ends meet.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well to send people cash transfers that have uplifted many families from poverty. On the otherhand I can not see any wrong doing on the side of GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to purchase cement , one metallic door worth UGX690,000. I also bought an ox worth UGX800,000 and the balance I spent it on buying clothing for my house hold members.
