What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing fishing nets to help me conduct my fishing activities well. In my entire life since I dropped out of school due to poverty, I have always engaged in fishing activities though under somebody firm. Since I had no money to purchase my own tools for that activity, I collaborated with a friend to use his tools and shared the proceeds made at the end of the day. I underwent losses as what I earned could not even sustain my family. I thank Give Directly for enabling me acquire my own tools and operate my a sole trade.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my transfer, I felt so happy for I knew I would buy my own tools and conduct an independent fishing activity.
