What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
This recent transfer was used to buy three pickup loads of sand. The sand will be use for plastering in and out of the house. I had seven bags of cements left from the first transfer, so I added eight bags, in total is fifteen bags of cements.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well by wiping tear and shame from our faces through the cash transfers. The money is direct and there's no foul play. People have come and go leaving us with empty promises but Givedirectly is Talk and Do. May God bless them the source of this money. Nobody around me complain about Givedirectly, not even me. So I don't have any issues with them.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have any new goals yet, my mind is focus on completing the construction of a new house. Building a decent house has been my dreams for years, so Givedirectly has answered our prayers.
