What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
The transfers have come at the right time when we are starting life with my husband. Since we do not have a stable source of income, we shall be able to start an economic activity like farming and livestock keeping. As a result we shall have enough money to sustain our needs. The remaining transfers we will use to purchase household items that we lost during floods.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I got married seven months ago and I am happy in my new home. I keep praying God to give me and my husband good health to be able to build our future together.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We were displaced by floods two months ago, and we lost an acre under maize plantation. We went on a loss that we are yet to recover from. Farming is our main source of income and we have to seek alternative sources to make ends meet at the moment.
