Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My house had taken over 5 years without it being plastered. However, after getting money from GiveDirectly I bought construction materials that were used to plaster my house. I am very happy now because my house is looking good and clean. I also acquired a bed and a new mattress that have given me good night sleep. Unlike before when I had an old mattress which was uncomfortable without a bed.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I became very happy because I had got money to meet my family's greatest needs.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 6 bags of cement, 2 trips of sand and paid construction workers. I also connected electricity in our house, repaired my motorbike, bought clothes, mattress and a bed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I intend to spend the money for buying a motor cycle. Iam currently ridding a motorcycle which is old and most of the time keeps on getting spoilt. The money spent on it's repairing is much than what I receive a day hence Iam unable to save any things for providing other neccessities at home. The plan is to buy another new one which may be cost effective to maintain such that I will be able to save some money for sustaining my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My favourite part of the day is evening hours after boda bodering. Iam able to realise some money for sustaining the family members hence I come home with a smile on my face.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest harship my family faces is food shortage. This has come in due to limited sources of earning. My family members have no choice of food but eat what is at thier disposal. This is causing unhealthy growth within the family members.
