How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal were to have a nice decent house that is before I received the transfer from Givedirectly and they have not changed at the moment, they still remain the same.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Most of the activities that Givedirectly is doing they are very good and also helpful to us, i am very grateful to have been included in this program, Many of us our lives have improved so much.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought iron sheets, cement, timbers and some window frames which I would like to use to renovate or improve my house which is very small at the moment.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy. I instantly called 634 too thank the organisation for sending the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my house is that, I am able to feed My family without problems.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I did not have food in my house therefore I bought bags of Maize for food. I have Also been able to buy clothes for my children.I also want to build a house, therefore I have started moulding bricks.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have 8 children but due to the size of my house, 4 of my children stays at my mothers house, so building a big house that should be big enough for all of us is what receiving this money means to me because some times i fill like i give too much pressure to my mother who is old.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam happy all day because i get to chart with people around my Village and we share new ideas
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced in my life is being unable to provide enough basic needs to my children due to poverty, some time i sit and think to say if my children do not have these basic needs then who will provide for them this bothers me alot
