Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have just got through harvesting rice on my farm, and I was sitting to rest a bit. I heard people shouting that Givedirectly had sent their money. some people were going to the network area so I decided to go and check too. I realized that the money was on my sim upon checking . I was so happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I was worried that most of my peers have their own zinc houses, but now I am happy that very soon, my own house project will start so and I am no longer worrying.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am not living in a good house and the tuition of my children is a serious challenge to me. The roof of the house is thatched and I have been thinking on making money to change the entire house to zinc round house. I am farmer, but the proceeds of the farm is not enough to help me achieve my dream. However, with the help of Givedirectly, I am now heading for the best.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"Since the death of my husband, I have been all alone with my children, no one to assist us. Upon receiving this cash transfer, I will definitely engage into large farming because farming is what I love doing. I will also build a decent house of my own. The remaining money will be invested into my children education to enable them becoming great future leaders. "
What is the happiest part of your day?
" As stated previously, since the death of my husband things have been very difficult but lately I met a man who expressed interest in having me as his wife and I accepted his proposal. That brought me joy because I have been alone for very long time. I believe he will help me with my children. "
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"During the past years I have been making large farm to sustain my family, but this year due to my illness I didn't engage into large farming so things have been very difficult for me. Getting our daily meals had been tough. We have to depend on others for assistance. Sometimes I had to force myself to do casual Labour to provide for the family. "
