How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I had never received this transfer, I would still be in extreme poverty as before as i could not be in position to acquire what I now own such as cattle, household items, proper feeding of my family and improved standard of living.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well by helping people. This is because no one has ever helped not even the government could do it. People are now out of extreme poverty. for example, standard living has improved. However, in my opinion, give directly has done nothing wrong. All is good and at 100%
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy a cow because this will help me in the future as I can sell off its calves to cater for my family needs such as fees for my children among others. This is like an investment to me. I also spent part of my transfer to buy my house hold items such as utensils, bedding such that I can better standard living in my home. I am reserving the balance for survival and feeding my family .
