What did you spend your third transfer on?
I invested 20,000 KES of my third transfer on dry Grain business, and sell corn and beans since July 2017(spent the balance on debt repayment, food and badly needed seats).Currently my grain business has grown to the tune of 30,000 KES. Before I started this business, even getting our daily food as a family was difficult but these day I manage to get daily food for my family from this business. I have also experienced great peace with my husband since I do not have to ask for house upkeep money daily and provoke him in the process. This has reduced the friction we used to have initially. In addition, before I started my business, I was naive and closed, but opened up when I began going to the Market Centre and interacting widely with a lot of people, which has been beneficial in the sense that we share ideas, with one of the consequences being that I got to join a local Grain-sellers SACCO where I save 1,000 KES monthly from my profits since August 2017. Had it not been for GD financial support that facilitated me to come out, I would not have gone and gathered all this information. I hope to grow my business to a level where I can diversify for better profits since I can also borrow money from the SACCO. Thank you very much.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I plastered my main house with sand and cement worth 30000 KES, cleared university fees for my daughter with 10000 KES and spent the rest on food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
Educating my daughter in a university has not been an easy task but I am glad that since I received my second transfer, sustaining her education has become easier and I have been enjoying the relief.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The hardest thing is feeding my family and providing the basic needs for them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Evening's makes me happy because after a long day of work I get to rest in my house.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money will mean a lot since I will be able store some farm produce because when there is drought I can only afford one meal in a day for the family.
