Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was on the boda boda stage waiting for a customer then I received a message showing the money. I was so excited and immediately rushed to cash out the money
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have a difference because previously I was riding someone's motorbike but currently I have mine and can save a lot of money for myself

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I and my wife we plan to buy our own land 509 US dollars and also building on that land a small structure which will cost US Dollars 396 because where we are staying currently is my father's land. The remaining money we will buy asecond hand motorcycle for bodaboda at a cost of US Dollars 924 so as to earn income to support my family, and the balance will go on food. Totaling to US Dollars 1,83.1
What is the happiest part of your day?
What brought me joy is marrying a wife and I was able to visit her parents and they accepted me to stay with their daughter
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have a challange of poverty which has caused hunger. We di not have land of our own for cultivating, am newly married, am now 3months old in marriage with the challenge of feeding though at times my father supports me when things are tough. I have been riding bodaboda for survival but the owner took it back and I now don't have any source of income but I have hope of getting something to do like business of buying and selling matoke(bananas)
