Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having stocked food stuffs in my house. I had never been able to stock food for all the time that I have lived. I am therefore grateful to GiveDirectly for such opportunity. I can now get me cook food freely compared to before where I could have ine meal or even go with out a meal.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
Since I did not know how to operate my phone, I heard a notification but feared to touch the phone and called my son who checked and told me it was money from GiveDirectly. At that moment, I felt happy that I made joyous noise.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay up fees, buy scholarstic materials and give up keep for my child. I then bought twenty pieces of iron sheets that I plan to use to start building. I also bought a bed, two mattresses, two pairs of bed sheets, utensils, basin and stocked food stuffs.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means I will buy land for agricultural purposes because the land I currently own is very small and cant support my agricultural activities.I will also pay school fees for my son who is curently in secondary level so that he can also enjoy a bright future.I have been having challenges of paying school fees because in most cases my son has been sent home for non-payment of school fees.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is after lunch when I have had a meal and I am satisfied.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing is that I frequently fall sick which in most cases hinders me from engaging in any productive activies yet I am the only bread winner since I am awidow.
