What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Being old and lack of support from neighbours and relatives within is the biggest challenge am facing because sometimes I fall sick at night and no one checks on me untill my grand sons come. Am planning to use KES 30000 of cash transfers to relocate to my daughters compound so that I will be assisted there. I will use KES 45000 to build single house for my grandsons because they usually sleep in neighbour house because iam not able to build house for them. I will use the remaining money to buy food, beddings and livestock's for my family and because am ageing I need to leave an asset for my grandsons
What is the happiest part of your day?
My grand son stood on the gap to support me and also took me to get eye surgery. Iam now a happy grand mother of 2 sons because i do charcoal burning to support them on their basic needs I was not able to do it before the surgery due to blindness.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am living in an area prone to flooding. And am very old iam not comfortable staying in cold area because my health is getting worse each and everyday due to infections. I have difficulty most of the time when I come out of the house to release my self due to confusion that comes with old age. Am planning to relocate to my daughters land so that I can get support from her.
