How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am Zoe Massaley from Nyamah town, Bomi county Liberia. Before receiving cash transfer from Givedirectly, I decided to send my daughter to school and start business to enable me contuine payment of her school fees. I still have the same goal and working towards it my saving my cash transfer on my mobile account to start business after receiving my last cash transfer.

Givedirectly always transferring money to my mobile account monthly and due to the cash received from Givedirectly, my daughter is presently in school and I will be starting a very good business soon. Thanks to Givedirectly for such a wonderful assistance given me. I am grateful.

In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Paying my daughter school fees and starting a new business all are good things that give directly did for me. In the past four years, I could not afford money to send my daughter to school and she was just sitting in this village not going to school. But after receiving this transfer from give directly, I was able to send my daughter to school.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I felt very happy because my kid been out of school for school fees.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving transfer from Givedirectly is that my life is improving. My child has been out of school while my neighbors children are all in school, but now that I have received transfer, my daughter will be going back to school soon.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am fortunate to receive the transfer, I will increase my business. Currently I am involved in bedspread selling. I buy the bedspread, slippers etc. and give it out to people for one month before they pay. I have one child and she is living with my mother in Grand Cape Mount, so I will send her portion of my transfer for my daughter school business. I will also go to the hospital to check out what is really happening to my stomach because it hurts me a lot.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Though, I am not yet eligible but my been enrolled in this program today is my most happiest day. If I am eligible, the cash from the transfer will really improve my business and my source of income will be sustainable.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My challenge now is my health, I have a stomach problem. At the end of every month, I can experience my stomach hurting so I can be worried whenever the month is about to end sometimes 24th onward. If I can go to the hospital to solve my stomach problem than my challenge is over because I will be able to go around to do my business.
