Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The cash transfer has given me joy. I am now constructing a spacious four roomed house with the cash transfer. Previously, I have been sleeping in a leaking hut. I am very grateful to GiveDirectly for the cash transfer.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My spouse heard the message on my phone at wee hours of the night. We felt very happy because we had plans of constructing a good house.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first cash transfer to purchase a mattress worth UGX 120000 and utensils worth UGX 100000. I sent my spouse to buy three trips of bricks and two trips of sand and other building materials with the balance of the cash transfer.
