How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The only difference in my life at the moment is that I feel dejected after losing all my transfers. I have spent a lot of time and resources trying to recover what I lost that I have ended up losing some of my savings which has left me worse than I was before.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My dream of having my own house just slipped through my hands after my entire transfer was stolen, but I will not be deterred. I will take this as a lesson, forge ahead and work even harder to try and build the house as soon as possible because I know that I will never get an opportunity like this that I was given by Give Directly again. I do not have any new plans at the moment other than constructing my own house as I have always wanted.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I had planned to change my life by constructing my own house and moving out of the rented house that I was living in, but that did not happen because one of my relatives stole all my transfers and ran away. I had saved the first transfer with plans of combining it with the second one so that I could buy all the required construction materials once, so when I received the second transfer, I withdrew it together with the first one which is why the relative accessed the whole amount. It is unfortunate that my life has not changed at all as I had hoped it would, but it is all my fault for not being careful and I am still grateful to Give Directly for the consideration.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I had a lot of expectations in terms of developments before I received the second transfers, but after I lost both the first and the second transfers which I had planned to use to construct my own house, I have no hopes at all. I will now try to things at my own pace and pray that things eventually turn out well.
