How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has really improved as I now have peace of mind since I'm old and the money was used to purchase fertilizers and pay some labourers who worked in my garden. My house has been renovated and she has plastered it a thing she never knew she could do.

Givedirectly gives people unconditional cash which helps them to improve their living standards..

I was vey happy when i received the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Am happy person. I go to my farm with food inside the house. My kids are also happy seeing food when they eat. I also have a very nice house.

I managed to buy 10 bags of Cement 10, bought iron sheets, furniture, bags of maize and 2 bags of fertilizer.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will use the money to buy iron sheets which I will use as a new roof for my house. I will also buy a bed, blankets and food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Am happiest when I have enough food to eat.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I find it hard to find enough food to eat everyday. I used to go farming myself but with old age I do not have the strength to farm anymore as a result I do not harvest enough maize.
