I spent 3,000 KES to purchase a goat for rearing, a bag of maize at 3,800 KES and the remaining amount I used for my up keep in the household.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent most of my second transfer to pay school fees for my children who are in high school. I paid laborers who weeded my farm. I bought sand which am planning to use in renovating my house, steel windows which I have fixed on my house. I bought sofa set because I did not have but have always longed for and the remaining amount I spent to buy a sack of maize for my family's consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my children have not been sent home for school fees like it has always happened in the past. This has given me peace and am not stressed like before when thye would stay at home when I did not have money to pay school fees. Thank you GD for the transfer.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was very excited because I did not expect to receive the money on that particular day.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying workers to cultivate my parcel of land and used part of the money to boost my ongoing business so as to get more profits. I also bought food for the family consumption and spent most of the transfer on paying fees for my two children who are in high school to avoid being sent away because of the arrears.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a mother of seven who runs just a small business for sustainability while my husband is jobless. The biggest hardship has been managing to provide for all members of the family with the little I generate from this business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the afternoon. That is when I get time to engage in my business. I interact with most of my customers and get food for my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I will be able to finally take my son to college. He has had to stay home since 2015 for lack of money to further his education.
