How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I now have new goals. I do not have a house of my own because it fell down and I was fortunate enough that my son was building a house and he offered me the house to live in while he is away for work. I know one day he will come back and with his family and they will need a house. I now want to build a house which is something i did not aspire for before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
There is nothing that GiveDirectly does not do well. All processes are well explained and every household truly benefits within the village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have bought 2 bags of fertilizer with my recent transfer. The roads to our village are bad and cars that can carry the bags of fertilizer struggle to reach here this means it costs alot to buy fertilizer in the rainy season that is why i am buying it now. I have also bought 5 bags of maize so that my storage does not run out in this farming season. I have kept the remaining money because i am yet to deciede what i want to spend it on.
