How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am so grateful for the transfer because I could have died without having a bigger house with iron sheets roof. My day to day life has also improved such as I am able to buy my daily needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD gives a lot of money to people. The selection criteria is also very good because a number of people benefit from the cash transfers.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The transfer has been of great benefit to me. My life has changed for the better. With my second transfer, I have managed to buy wooden doors, 5 bags of cement and metallic windows.
I didn't have blankets and some other beddings but with the transfer, I managed to buy beddings. I saved part of my transfer to pay a carpenter and a builder.

This was the most exciting moment in my life. To receive such an amount of money for doing nothing is beyond one's imagination.

The biggest difference this transfer will make is that l will have a proper house once I complete building it.

Before I respond, let me begin by thanking GiveDirectly for this cash grant. It was a timely assistance from this organization as I was in great need of the same. With this transfer I have bought iron sheets and other building materials. Very soon I will start building a proper house. It will be the first of its kind in my entire life, that is to have a good house. Iam grateful to GiveDirectly for the money.

Receiving this money really means so much to me,I'm so excited for getting enrolled.

The happiest part of my day is during noon hours this is so because thats when i always have my first meal of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm currently facing is of a house,honestly i don't have a good house at all,I'm currently sleeping in a shark because my house is half down.
