What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recipient this money will help me to build a good house for my family with burnt bricks and iron sheets. I will also use the cash transfer to buy fertilizer to use for my two acre farm so I can have a good harvest this coming season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last six months the thing that has brought happiness in my life was that I joined a savings group which we share money every month. I received my share of approximately Mk20,000 which made it easy for me to buy school uniforms for my two children, and a bag of maize.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges that I am currently facing are shortage of food because I rely on farming for me to be able to provide food for my family. I was only able to harvest six bags because I could not afford fertilizer which has sustained my family until October.
