What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on stocking food(1 sack) because i was suffering from hunger. I also renovated my house because it was lacking Windows and a door.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would not be having a comfortable house however my life is different because when I received the transfers I was able to put Windows and doors in my house and I now sleep comfortably.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GD does well by giving us financial transfers and letting us decide how to use it.

I spent my second transfer on building my personal house of two rooms since previously I was staying in my brother's house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is owning a house and getting independence from my brother. Now am considered an able man because of that.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
Yes iron sheets, mattress, bedsheets and food! I spent my first transfer on iron sheets for my own house because the one am living now belongs to my brother. I want to build a 4bedroom house with cement and iron sheets.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy to receive this money because I had lost hope of building my own house but now have hope of building my own house and am happy.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I am planning to spend the transfer on completing my house and make it more comfortable and also buying some animals to rear.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was when I planted some sweet potatoes last season and yielded highly in harvest. I managed to sell some and get money to buy personal items like a blanket.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life was when I got some malaria that affected me so much three weeks back.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is morning time because this is when I go and do some work to earn a living.
