Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was at home in bed when the money came to my phone. I was very happy and I knew it was GD. I first thought about land but it wasn't enough so I bought a cow to save money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Life is now better. My family is fine. I now work harder as person.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought a cow. I did this to help me keep my money in asset form instead of waiting for more to get land.

What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to buy land in a flat area within Bududa District at USD1052 which I use for cultivation to yield food for my people before construction. I also opt to purchase two bulls at USD263 each which I will keep for some time and sell to raise money so that construction can be arrived at easily. Then USD263 will cater for welfare at home and treating my animals to be in good conditions in order to earn me good money to invest in other ventures.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What made me happy is GOD giving life and enabling us cross to a new year safely with all my people and the year has started well despite the fact that we don't live a complete life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I currently face a challenge of landslide which has always affected our gardens and houses something that let us have suffer by having poor harvests leading hunger in the home. I also with my people some times sleep badly as a result of water penetrating into our house when it rains. Transport becomes a problem when harvesting period reaches because we just carry produce on the heads which affects our health yet in most cases we are un able to arrive at required treatment.
