Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so much happy the moment I received money from GiveDirectly. It came at a time when we were all broke as a family. That evening my hsband had come home complaining that he had had a very bad day in his business and that there was nothing to smile about that day. I hardly had anything as well and we were all desperate to at least get some money from someone and be able to meet the need of the family. We almost slept hungry that night but GiveDirectly came with that pleasnat surprise in the early mornig. We were all happy as a family and we got down to planning and implementing our plans with the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now live with less stress than at the time I had not received money from GiveDirectly. The dairy cow that we bought from this transfer is a constant reminder that the perrenial shortage of milk that we have always experienced will soon be a thing of the past. My husband's business is equally doing so well thanks to the boost received from GiveDirectl's transfers. I nowadays sleep very well knowing that the needs of my family will be gathered for without fail and knowing that my family is going to have better living standards going forward. We look forward to receiving our next transfer and making more valuable family investments that will change our lives even more.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used part of my first transfer to buy a dairy cow and used the remaining amount to improve my husband's business of buying and selling cows. I initially owned a small shop that earned us little income that could supplement income from my husband's small business. It is until this business came down forcing me to close down and depend entirely on my husband and subsistence farming that earned us very little or no income at all sometime. This made life difficult for us and it was even worse considering that we did not have even one dairy cow that could ease the burden of raising income to sustain the needs of the family. On receiving this money we made it a priority to buy at least one dairy cow and improve on my husband's business. This, we know will change our lives a lot in the long run. We are looking forward to receiving our next transfer and make other valuable investments that will change our lives going forward.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
As a store of wealth, i plan to spend this money in buying sheep and goats at 300$, 4 heifers each at a coast of 100$ as well as adding more chicken to my poultry to ensure my 3 children currently in primary school will never lack school fees in future
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am most happy in the afternoon after my children have had their mid day meal and i am assured of getting an evening meal for them at the end of the day
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Being a housewife, i have always wished to support my husband in providing for the family, but lack of capital to start a business of selling second hand shoes has been an hindrance to reaching my goals making this the biggest hardship i face
