What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I opened an electrical shop. There had been acute shottage in supplier of the items in my area and yet the demand was very high and therefore I saw an opportunity that I would bridge with the money Give Directly sent us. The business has uplifted our lives since the continuous flow of income has ensured that we afford most of the basic needs that we couldn't before then when we were jobless.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I used a total of 2000 KES to buy 2 cows and 2 sheep to rear in my home because I had no domestic animal of my own before. I then used the balance to buy a sofa set and dry maize for my family's food because I did not have proper seats in the house and we had also run out of maize for the family's food.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have acquired cows and sheep, which are really treasured in my village, and I now have confidence before my peers because they can no-longer ridicule me for lacking domestic animals.
