What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on plastering my new kitchen,bought two sheep for 7,000 KES which I intend to grow as an investment . I made loan repayment for 12,000 KES, gave my husband 6,000 KES to buy additional timber for his carpentry workshop and revived my part-time maize roasting business which had almost collapsed with 3,000 KES.My small business has improved and is supporting my family, thank you.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used a portion of the transfer to replace the roofing of my kitchen with new iron sheets. Finshed my main house which was a half way compled. Installed electricity in my home. Settle some debts with a portion of the transfer. I also purchased some foodstuffs for family consumption.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest different in my daily life is that my home is now shinning due to the electricity I've installed. This has also enhanced me a lot of security. Apart from that, my debtor no longer wake me up every morning as it used to be in demand for her money because I managed to settle it.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my first transfer on buying a bag of maize for my family's consumption 4500 KES and other foods 600 KES. I paid cultivation fees since I had hired workers 2,000 KES. I send some amount of money to my mother 1000 KES . I also bought three school uniform and shoes for my children respectively 1800 KES
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer, I felt very happy since I didn't have any money at that time and having received the blessings from God through GiveDirectly it sounded like a miracle.

The biggest hardship we have faced is, paying loan that we took to build this our house.

The happiest part of my day is in the mornings, when I'm doing my household chores.

I feel so happy, because we anticipate this money to bring a change in our lives, as we intend to use it to complete this our house, and pay the loan we took to build it
