How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am the happiest this year as there is pronounced difference in my life. Normally hunger would strike my family around this time to the start of the harvest season. But now I already have plenty food in the house as well as sleeping in a clean home.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Everything in my opinion went really well. Especially that the way you sent money to us was not too hectic. Additionally, your Filed Officers are very polite and articulate.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my second transfer I bought cement to plaster the walls of my house so that they have a smooth finish and look. I also bought a few iron sheets just to extend my roof over the veranda to provide shade when we are outside the house. Lastly, I bought blankets for my kids as well as topped up on the maize in the house.
