How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I don't have a new goal right now all is about my house completion. this has been my major worry about how to build a house with zinc and cement. more especially my children's tuition has been a major worry too but with the help from givedirectly, they are in school. I'm awaiting my next transfer so that I can start a business.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I never had money to build a house. I have been renting throughout since I begin to know myself in life. givedirectly change my life I'm not going to be renting anymore in my life. I give them many thanks for their help towards me and the people of my village.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My most recent transfer which I just get from givedirectly. I'm about to complete my house. I bought my balance zinc with some cotton nails. I also pay my children's tuition and even bought them some schools material. Moreover, I bought some provisions for the house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I have been renting for so long. I have planned to build a new house but there is no money. Because of this I was so happy when I receive my transfer from Givedirectly. Through the transfer I will be able to build myself a decent house and save money for other purposes that I will be able sustain my family and I.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have never been able to earn such amount of money in cash before since I was born. The biggest difference in my life for now is that I am so much happy because through the transfer, I will be able to be under my own roof instead of renting again in the future. I have not spend my recent transfer from Givedirectly because I am waiting for my last transfer to accomplish my goals. Over the passed years, I have been renting because I had no money to build myself a house. I am so thankful to GiveDirectly for everything they have done by improving my life positively and making my dreams come to reality.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
"I am crushing rocks to sell now, but the work is very difficult. Since I know how to ride bike, when I receive my transfer from GiveDirectly, I will use it to buy a motorbike to run traffic so that it will serve as a source of income to cater to my needs".
What is the happiest part of your day?
"In the last six months, I never experienced illness and I always had food to eat. That's what makes me happy ".
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"The challenge I am currently facing is lack of finance. I am involved into crushing rocks, but whenever I crushed the rocks these days, there is no buyers, so that makes it very difficult to even afford to get daily meal".
