What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of the transfer on rice plantation which did well interns of profit. I also spent the remaining transfer to pay school fees for my children who are in secondary school.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life different if l could not have received transfer is that l could not have enough to eat thus l could be still begging from my relatives.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well in giving support to the most need because but not to everybody in the village, otherwise l do not see what Give Directly did not do well.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy a cow. I am hopeful it will reproduce in the near future thus my family will have milk and other calves that we can sell to get some money. I used the remaining portion of the transfer to pay school fee and to buy school items for my children to ensure they are comfortable in school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My family can now have proper meals that they could have in the past. My children can also go to school without the fear of being sent back home due to fee arrears.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to pay school fee for my 4 children for 8000 KES and 1900 KES i spent to buy food for my family.

I'm planning to start fish business with my upcoming transfer. I will also buy some cattle.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My plan is to pay school fees for my children in primary school,I also intend to start up a fish mongering business that will generate income and lastly use the remaining amount to build a house since the current one is not mine.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having taken care of my children single handedly after my husband left.It has not been easy though.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on paying school fees for my children.My business stalled few months ago leaving me with no other source of income since I was only depending on the business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children are back from school and sharing with me how their day was.
