Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overjoyed when I got my alert.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Life before the transfer was challenging, I was so worried about so many things first, my son who is attending in Monrovia fees, I even felt that he will not be able to attend this year because I had no hope of sending him back to school. I was also endebted to my club, and lastly where I live was not conducive, the thought of improving my house also bothered me! All thanks to God for this NGO called Give Directly, who God has used to solve my many problems and put a smile on my face, I'm grateful!!!
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my money on my children school fees. My big son who is attending in Monrovia was also taken care of, his fees and something to keep him up. Part of the money was also spent on improving my house and buying provisions to keep us up.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have three children now that I am sponsoring in school. Last year I had difficulty in paying my children school fees because I am not wrking to support all of them in school. So with the cash transfer from Givedirectly, I will use the money to support all of my children in school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I feel happy today seeing Givedirectly in my community and at my house , and hearing the good news bring me so much joy .The good news is my household got a phone and a sim card from the Givedirectly programme. I pray to be successful for the cash transfer so that I can settle all of my debts and send my children to school this academic year.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major challenge I am faced with now is, I am sick from the accident I had this is causing me not to work hard to provide for my family. I was strong before, and was making palm oil business, but since I had accident, I got sick and started to credit from other people for my family to have daily bread. Now I have a debt of 48000LD from community saving club that I am to pay back. I am sick, and not really strong enough as compare to before.I can not raise the money on my own now while sitting home.
