Currently, I work as a motorcycle rider, which enables me to make ends meet, save easily, and work towards achieving my dream. My biggest goal is to start my own goat farm. I firmly believe that the more goats I buy, the more they will give birth, allowing me to easily sell them and make a huge profit in the future. With this profit, I plan to provide the best life for my two sisters and educate them.

Upon receiving my transfers, I immediately decided to invest $32 in purchasing a goat. I strongly believe that goats are a smart business investment. Currently, I am proud to own a total of twenty goats. With the remaining $2, I bought food and shared a meal with my family.

I have a wife and five children. I work as a motorcycle rider which does not make much. I have school going siblings that I also support. I have known that I have to also create some of form of reserve to help educate all this children. My plan is to add more animals which I hope to also sell and make some more money as they keep reproducing in turn being able to take care of their school fees and nutrition.

I am really drawn to animal farming. I am trying to build an animal herd. I spent most of my transfers to buy animals. In July I spent my transfer buying a goat similarly to September. In August I spent $12 of my transfers buying chicks at $3 each for four chicks. I spent the rest of my August transfers on food items for my family.

I am building my farm to become an animal rearer. I plan to increase the herds even as the year comes along. I believe that animals are profitable and that one can really grow from keeping them. I do Motorcycle business which means I make some income even though not sufficient to achieve this dream of rearing animals which I have gotten through the transfers mostly. My aim is to increase this animals further which means I will be able to become fully sufficient as animals make a profit always.

I had started building a house but the finances were not sufficient to put a door on the door frames I needed to find a way of getting the door. When I received the April transfers I used the cash to buy the door and put it up which has increase the safety of the house and myself as I stay there. I spent $15 purchasing the door., I used the rest of that month's transfer to buy six chicken which I have in my coup. I got a goat in may at $32 and got some food at $4 that month. I also bought food worth $3100 in the month of June. I bought one more chicken again this month at $3.

I am a motorbike rider and I would normally make $5 daily from my daily runs. I have always wanted to have a sustainable plan that can take care of me when I am unable to work. I have hence decided to start an animal farm that I hope to one day commercialize. My plan this year is to add to the already existing goats and chicken to achieve a bigger number than the ones I currently have. I hope that through this I am able to make profits as animals give birth and when the young ones grow I can sell then and get money worth what I invested in the animal or more.

The GD transfers I have received so far have had a positive impact on my life. I have been able to add a number of animals to my already existing flock. I used $12 from my December transfers to get an additional 6 chicken which has gotten my flock up to 100 now and I bought two goats with my January and February transfers at $30 and $32 respectively. I am born into a family of six children. My father is the breadwinner of the family and works as a driver. Our family has been struggling financially, especially in paying the school fees for all five of us at school. Since I got enrolled in the last six months, all my funds have gone towards my school fees and food for us. Recently, when I received my transfer, I invested $10 and bought three chicks. I spent the rest $20 on food, which lasted for only one week.

Giving people cash without conditions was the best idea. People are empowered to make financial decisions which have since then led to some improvements in the village. I already have a house which I could not have afforded if it was not for the transfers. I have not heard of any complaints from neighbors about the organization. It is doing great work.

I bought corn worth KES 3000 with the recent transfer for our family consumption. I operate a motorcycle for taxi services but due to the increased price of fuel, whatever I make from it is not enough to meet the family’s needs. Besides, the current price of corn is high, and they increase daily. I, therefore, found it safe to purchase them in bulk which is enough to take my family for a good period of time before budgeting for more.

The biggest difference in my daily life is being able to upgrade my family's living standard.
