How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I am happier now than I have ever been. I have always been poor. I never thought I would have the chance to sleep on a mattress but because of this program I now have more than I ever dreamed possible. I eat better nutritious food. I am able to take care of myself. I am about to build a house. I have even bought fertilizer ahead of the next planting season so that I can double my yield. Give Directly changed my life with these transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly was wise in bringing the program to us through the chiefs. They made sure every community member was included. If it had not been for that, some of us would not have been part of the program.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning on building a house. I have already gotten the bricks done and bought cement.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This means alot to me I'm surprised that there is an organisation that literally gives out such big amount of money so I'm really grateful.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day depends on how my day is going, some days i wake up happy, some days i wake up sad.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that i always face is having a proper and reliable source of money,as it is I'm a farmer and yearly i have to make sure that i have all the farm inputs in stock, for the past years this has been so challenging because i don't have any source of money as a result i always have poor harvest.
