How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that my family and I are living in peace and harmony since there is money that we can use at any time as we please. Before when there was no money, life was difficult that my husband and I could end up quarrelling over petty things. We would even end up separating and get back when anger has subsided.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by giving me unconditional transfers. This money has created peace in my home. However, Givedirectly has done absolutely nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on molding and baking bricks that I plan to use to build a pit latrine. I am saving Ugx 900000 that I plan to use for renovating my house and start building my pit latrine. I then used some of the money to buy some household goods such as utensils, beddinds and food that my family and I are feeding on.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life has changed because I have a lot of happiness due to the transfers of give Directly. I used to starve due to lack of food in house but that is no more and I'm also nice looking because I feed on good diet.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I saw the message I called my son to check what it was and he confirmed to me mummy Give Directly has sent You money. I felt so happy and I told God to bless give Directly and her staff. I started budgeting on how to spend the transfer and since I had already constructed the house but it needs to be plastered and floored. I also budgeted for children's school fees and household items.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I received this transfer I bought building materials like Door, Cement and Molded Bricks for constructing a pit latrine and I spent Ugx 305000. I paid school fees for the children at Ugx 550000, I also bought household items like mattresses, Utensils at ugx 364000. I bought pigs that can be using in future for paying school fees and this costed ugx 80000. I spent Ugx 205000 for paying medical bills for myself and the children. Since we are in a dry season and feeding is very difficult, I used ugx 146000 for buying food. I also saved Ugx 150000 for building the house and a pit latrine.
