How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I used to do piece works in people's farms so that i can use the money to buy food but with the money that i got from GD i no longer go around working to get food. There is plenty food in my home unlike in the past. This is a big difference compared to how i used to live my life.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I have no problem with how GD runs its program

I used the money to buy materials like wood, nails, wires, door and door frames that i can use to build my house.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy. I believe i was happy more than anyone in my village no one has ever done anything like this to me. I am so greatful for all this help.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I sleep on a good place now this is a change from the hard floor I used to sleep on. My family has food during this time when all our maize finished. My wife and I are decently dressed now.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent the money on some iron sheets , I bought 20 of them. I went on and bought 2 bags of fertilizer so that i am able to harvest enough maize and nolonger have to worry about maize. I went on and added 2 bags of maize to help feed my family since all the maize we harvested finished.i bought some kitchen utensils and added a mattress and a bed.
