How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before the transfer I never had a house of my own,but now I'm a proud owner of my house I'm so grateful and thank you so much Givedirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion there is literally nothing that Givedirectly did not do well,everyone in my village received the transfer and the process was fair and honest.

I used the whole transfer to buy house building materials,I bought bricks,iron sheets,Windows,flames,doors and any other tiny things necessary for the house project.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
i was very happy when i received the transfer and could not not believe it that the money has actually come. I was filled with so much joy.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this cash means alot to me. It has come at the right time as iam currently failing to meet ends meet. I will probably spend it in a manner that I will always remember forever. I will buy livestock as well as food for my household. Iam grateful to GD for the initiative and I promise that I will not misuse it when iam given this cash. Iam patiently looking forward to receiving it. Once again, thank you for this kind gesture.
What is the happiest part of your day?
More often than not, Iam happiest in the evening because despite the financial hardship I face, I make sure that I should make sure that I and my family should eat in the evening. This gives me joy at this part of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Basically, I do struggle to feed my family. Lack of money has always been my greatest and most worrying hardship.
