How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months in that I am sure I will have an iron-roofed house before the year ends. This is my priority and the only goal I want to achieve as soon as possible. The savings which I have increased my credits in our table banking group which is my advantage. I am not in a hurry to take a loan but if need be, I am able to get good credit to help me build a house of my dream. This is because of GD transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I wish to buy two goats as investments for my family and myself. I would want to have livestock just like my friends. I would not want to be left behind when my fellows are investing.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been dreaming of having an iron-roofed house because the one I stay in now, is grass thatched and in a very poor condition. The grass on the roof has started coming off and I always repairing it on a monthly basis. This is very costly considering how expensive grass is in my area. This is why I have always desired to have an iron-roofed which will save me from all these struggles. With GD transfers, I have savings which I will use in buying building materials for putting up an iron-roofed house.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I plan to build an iron-roofed house which I have been looking forward to. It has always been in my dream but due to low income from farming and casual work, I was not able to. With GD transfers, I will finally achieve the goal.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different from how it would have been four months ago in that I have new clothes. In the past, I could not buy new clothes because my income from casual work was not much to enable me to buy clothes. I used to put up with what I had and even though they were growing very old. GD transfers came when I needed it most. I don't have to beg for clothes as I used to do in the past because I have new ones courtesy of GD transfers.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal in the next four months is to buy a goat. I would want to have tangible evidence of what GD has done in my life. I will use the goat as a remembrance of GD and investment for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving these transfers is that we always have food in the house. In the past before the transfer, we used to struggle to put food on the table because of our low income from casual work which has not been consistent and very little. In most cases, we would be forced to borrow money or take foodstuff on credit from a friend and payback later. GD transfers have changed my life because I no longer borrow nor take things on credit to feed my family.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to change in the six months in that I will be having a goat. This has been one of my dreams and I will achieve it in the next six months courtesy of GD transfers.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different than it was four months ago because I have been able to use the transfers and remit my contributions to the saving group in which I am a member so easily. Moreover, I have been able to use the transfers to hire some labourers to till my farm. I am, therefore, relieved from the task of preparing my piece of land alone.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my additional goal is to buy a goat. I once owned a goat which unfortunately died before it could reproduce and increase in number. However, I am still planning to begin keeping more goats from which I shall be able to buy and own a cow just like my neighbors.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfers, the biggest difference in my life is being able to fend for my family. There have very few casual jobs although the transfers from GiveDirectly have greatly helped us. As a result, there is no day my family passed without any meal.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect the number of my goats to increase. I shall use part of my transfers to buy more goats which I shall add to my flock. I shall then prioritize to use part of my goats to pay dowery. As a result, I shall be able to live peacefully with my wife without worries on how to arrange to pay her dowry.
