Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I recieved the money in the morning when i was not even expecting it. I was very happy and excited and i could not believe this.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Right now i know my life will change. I will have a house with iron sheets and i will longer have to worry about my roof leaking in the rainy season.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I recieved my money, i was very happy because now i know that i will be able to roof my house. My day to day life prevents me from affording enough money to afford iron sheets as i just depend on casual labour jobs which just provides food. I have manged to buy 34 ironsheets and timber as well paid the builders.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am really grateful for being enrolled this program. This means a lot to me. I intend to renovate my house because I have been failing to do so because of lack of money. I will also buy some bags of cement and some other house maintenance items. I will also buy some bags of food, kitchen utensils and some beddings.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy during harvest time.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main problem here is hunger. This year, the harvest was very little and the food is not enough to sustain us.
