How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I had never recieved the transfer in that I am now leaving a healthy life. Now, I am able to go collect treatment as and when I need it. I am less stressed now.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, givedirectly has done well by helping me to see to it that I treat myself to the fullest since I have several illnesses. However, givedirectly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying some building materials such as cement, sand and plastering my house. I already had this house before give directly coming to my community but it was built using mad. I therefore needed to modernise it. I then paid up fees up in advance for my children who are school going. This is such that I don't have any stress over fees for next term as it will enable me to plan a head. I then bought goats as a form of investment. Since I am a sickly person, I can then sell of for treatment. I also gave my husband some money as we had agreed that I would do so whenoney came through. This was to maintain the peace in the house. I lastly used the balance for treatment as I was suffering from several illnesses.
